Museum ofModern and contemporary art of Saint-Étienne Métropole (MAMC+)

The MAMC+ is the first modern art museum created in the region in 1987.
The design collection, initiated to the creation of the museum, includes more than 2,000 objects as well as 600 drawings and models. Driven by the history of the city, it has as its essential reference the industrial design and the object designed to be mass-produced. It retains four designer funds: Michel Mortier, René-Jean Caillette, Studio Totem, Savinel & Rozé.
The exhibition Design in hand. From language toobject In particular, honors the rich collection of household appliances from MMC+. One of the main means of increasing this fund is the donation, often motivated by the discovery of everyday objects seen in the museum’s exhibitions.
