Installed in the heart of Bordeaux, the MADD reopened in April 2026, after three years of renovation and modernization work. Its collections bring together nearly 33,000 works, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Testifying to the production of decorative arts and design in the West, they illustrate typologies as diverse as tableware, furniture, weapons, and also include new uses.
